PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
John-Kennedy C. Onyemere is a Solicitor with George Etomi and Partners, Port Harcourt Office. He has been involved in various high profile litigation matters and has experience in matters relating to Privatization,Commercial and Property Law, Oil and Gas and Mediation. He has also worked closely with multi-national companies, mediating between them and their host communities.
He has special interest in Criminal Justice, Public International Law, Banking and Finance, Corporate/Commercial Law, Cabotage Law, Alternative Dispute Resoution and has been actively involved in Litigation cases up to the Court of Appeal. He is also a Lecturer in the Faculty of Law, Abia State University, Uturu, Nigeria.
